Our Story
Sagar and Danica met at Lewis & Clark law school in Portland, Oregon. Their friendship grew quickly as they bonded over walks with their dogs, camping trips, shared meals, and finding peace in nature amidst the whirlwind of law school life.
Throughout their time in school, they remained close friends, but it wasn’t until the very end that things began to change. By the time graduation rolled around, Sagar had already fallen for Danica, though she didn’t quite know it yet. Those closest to him noticed the shift — his head was in the clouds. As they spent more time together, their bond deepened, and Sagar eventually worked up the courage to share his feelings.
Shortly after, Danica made the decision to move back to Hawaii with her dog, Lily, and her cat, Pudding. She asked Sagar to help with the move. Little did he know, it wasn’t just a move—it was the start of something bigger. After a week together in Hawai'i, Danica asked Sagar to stay and build a life together. And so, Sagar went back to Portland to get his dog, Phineas, before they moved in together in Honolulu.
Now they are excited to continue their journey, hand in hand, surrounded by love and family.
